  1. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
  2. Click on the File tab in the top-left corner of the window.

  3. In the left sidebar, select Options.
  4. A new window called Outlook Options will appear.
  5. Navigate to the Mail category (it should be selected by default).
  6. Look for the section called Stationery and Fonts.
  7. Ensure that the Font is set to desired font in the New mail messagesReplying or forwarding messages and Composing and reading plain text messages is set to the desired font.
  8. To do this, click on each one of the separate Font Buttons and specify the Font style and size from the list of available fonts.
  9. Click OK to save your changes.
  10. Close the Outlook Options window.

From now on, when you compose new emails or read messages in Outlook, the default font will be as per your settings. If you prefer a different font, you can follow the same steps and choose your preferred font instead.

It is a good idea to confirm what the prescribed font is within your organization to ensure that your email communication is always inline with your organization’s corporate identity and brand.
