- Charge the Tablet:
- Let your tablet charge for at least 30 minutes to ensure uninterrupted power during setup or keep the tablet plugged in during set-up.
- Power On the Tablet:
- Locate the power button on your tablet (usually on the side or top).
- Press and hold the power button until the screen lights up.
- You’ll see the manufacturer’s logo, indicating that the tablet is turning on.
- Initial Configuration:
- The initial configuration page will be displayed prompting you to select language. Do not select language or continue.
- Tap the screen 6 times shortly after each other until the scan QR code screen appears.
- Scan the applicable QR Code for your division.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to configure the initial settings:.
- Wi-Fi: Connect to a Wi-Fi network. Make sure to use the relevant division or client's mobile network and refrain from using the corporate network.
- Google Account: When prompted to add an account, press skip.
- Work Account: When prompted for a Microsoft login enter the corporate account t of the user that the tablet is being assigned to.
- Your work checklist is displayed:
- Press the option to set up a lock screen. Set the PIN to the users preference or to “12345678” ( you will need to confirm that the password is insecure, this is just temporary)
- Press the company apps option and follow the prompts to install required applications.
- Select the register device prompt and follow the instructions.
- Finish the set-up
- After device registration the device updates. Follow the prompts.
- On the google services page ensure that “Use location” and “Allow scanning” options are on.
- Turn off the “send usage and diagnostic data” option.
- Agree to the “End User License Agreement”
- Agree to the “Privacy Policy”
- Do not select the optional “Sending of Diagnostics Data”
